I live in this shelter place that is cold, sometimes only about 50 some degrees and sleep on an old love seat that is hard and small. I have someone who cares about me who is 1100 miles away—money and other factors keep us apart. We don’t have a place to live. She wants to marry me, but I have physical limitations and wouldn’t make a decent husband. I need to be a full-grown man in the measure, stature, and fullness of Christ. I want to carry out His work for my life. Life has been very hard this year. I’ve gone without decent clothes, food, water, heat and companionship at times. Thank you for your prayers.

Thank you for all your prayers. I got wounded on a combat jump and got med boarded out of the service. Since then we have been struggling with hospital bills and other bills. I thought that if I ever got injured while serving this country that the Army would take care of me. I was very mistaken they just passed me on to the VA. Now my wife does not have health coverage and that was the reason why I went back in the service. My wife has very bad COPD and she has been hospitalized several times since I have been forced out of the service. Please pray that the Lord will heal my wife and that I can get a job again.

A little boy Jordan is going back to the hospital in Haifa. Before he had checked out of the hospital this week the doctor had given his parents some signs that would indicate that Jordan’s brain was still hemorrhaging. Apparently, he began showing some of those signs and has continued to gradually get worse. It is normally about a 45 -minute drive to the hospital. Please pray that the bleeding would stop and that there would be no hindrance in getting to the hospital.

Please pray for a minister friend in the Philippines. His name is Rev. Ben Neri. His needs are for the Jesus Feeding Program to the street children of Cebu City, Phillippines. Also they have a hope and vision to build a orphanage so the children do not have to return back out on the streets to live after each meal. The children are now taught and cleaned up each day but have to go and sleep on the streets. They feed 70 children and could feed more if they had larger facilities. Please also pray for my brother Roger. He is not saved and is crippled with M.S. Several of us have witnessed to him many times. He has even prayed the sinner’s prayer with Rev. Ben Neri. He needs salvation and God’s will for his life.

He has been diagnosed with diverticulitis that has moved into his lower bowels and is now facing surgery because they have shut down due to a severe infection in his intestines. Please pray for my family. I have one son and two daughters. My son and one daughter confess to be gay. The other has two children and her six -year old Alyssa has autism. Julie is not married, but she lives with the father of the children and they all live with me. Julie was a great mother, but recently her heart has turned away from her children. I recently lost a small business and I have no income. Things have fallen apart severely in my home. My son is possessed and he claims to be Jesus. I had to put him out of my home. He is 22 and has never held a job. He has threatened suicide so many times. My daughter has tried to commit suicide along with the father of my grandchildren. Alyssa tried to run and jump out of the windows several times. Praise God that we caught her in time.  I have a grandson whom I am trying to raise for the Lord. There is a continual spiritual battle raging in this family for so long. Demonic strongholds are so strong in this house and I have anointed it so many times and asked Jesus for deliverance. My grandson and I are the only Christians. Please pray for us and for God’s glory to fall in this house and for His glory and testimony’s that will win many to the Lord. Pray for a change in this household.

I am 69 years old and over 30 years ago I almost had a severe relapse into a moral dilemma. I realized this before anything happened and I turned away from it. I asked for forgiveness and confessed and repented. I had no problems for over 30 years. Now it has been brought back up in the courts and I can hardly remember it. I suffer from disabilities now. I have prostate problems, Parkinsons, and maybe dementia and alzeimers although I am not sure. Please pray for me because I can hardly remember and it will be hard to defend myself. He needs his strength because it has come back in his lung and lymph node. I know God can heal it all and cancel all the negative reports.

Bad News:
Dad emailed me to tell me he has new cancer. It is now in his brain and spinal fluid as I understand it which could be misunderstood. They will treat it with a tube being inserted into his brain and then injecting it with chemo therapy once every 2 weeks for 2 months and then every month for 4 months. The average survival time is 6 months with a few patients living 1-2 years.
Good News:
When I spoke to Dad, the first thing out of his mouth was, “Did I mention to you that with this treatment that I could live up to another 2 years?” I told Dad I was proud of his attitude during this fight, and he told me that a positive attitude was the only one to have because a negative attitude wouldn’t help much.
He wanted me to tell you to keep praying and he’ll keep fighting.

Eight weeks ago the doctors wanted to take her off life support, but her family said no. Her brain was swollen from injuries she received from the auto accident because she was thrown from the car. Now eight weeks later she is off life support and she knows her family and can communicate with them. Her brothers received injuries in accident also including broken legs. The doctors are astounded at such an impossible recovery.

My brother Dale went to he doctor for a lump in his neck. They did a CT scan and a biopsy. They think it is probably Hodgkins Disease. They will not know for sure until they get the biopsy results. Charlie inherited Neurofibromytosis, which is a genetic disorder. His type affects gene #17 and is not the rarest type. This type affects 1 in 3000 births. He has tumors throughout his brain, lymph nodes and on nerve endings throughout his body. He has been blessed that he has had no malignancies or seizures. This disease is not curable by antibiotics, however, our God is the Great Physician. Charlie claimed his healing when he was 10 years old He told his Specialist that Jesus was going to heal him./ He walks by faith and is a great testimony of childlike faith which Jesus spoke of in the Scriptures.

I went to the doctor’s who confirmed that my findings of the lump in my left breast was right, immediately scheduled me for surgery. It was at Kaiser where this was to take place. Because the lump was at right under the skin the surgeon decided that he could do it in their department. I went in on Thursday of last week. They prepped me for the minor operation and the doctor was already to do the surgery, but before he got started he checked to confirm the location only to find that the lump was gone. There was a mark that showed where the lump was, but it was nowhere to be found.  Praise the Lord!!

On March 30, 1990 I suffered a severe car accident. Every doctor, but one said that I was going to die. The one that said that I may live said I would never leave the hospital. Thankfully I had a better doctor than any earthly doctor could be. I was in a coma for a month. I have had to relearn everything over again. I occasionally have seizures and have trouble retaining material just learned. When praying for the Lord’s healing of this, I kind of feel like I’m using God like a genie in a bottle. He said “Ask and it shall be given to you”, Like I said, I am not meaning to be using God like a “genie in a bottle,” but I am a 32 year old man still living with his parents. I remember being a kid and thinking that at this age I would have kids of my own and a career.

Today, one of my young students, Andrew, called to tell me that his father ,Les, has been diagnosed with colon cancer, and the doctors have seen “spots” on his liver. They are today or tomorrow going to do surgery. Obviously, we are praying that his colon cancer has not metastasized into his liver. He is only 54 years old. Andrew said that his mother is not handling things well, and she is confused and emotionally upset, as would be expected. His parents are not believers. My neighbors across the street are getting advanced in years and have health problems so they ask me to repair various things and to help them with some things. Their names are Paul and Esther. Paul is a gentile that embraced the Jewish faith when he married Esther (a Jew). They are in their eighties. Esther told me that her father or grandfather was an Orthodox Rabbi. Paul and Esther are not orthodox, but they have no desire to become Christians. I have not attempted to convert them- just befriend them. They are aware that I am a Christian. Paul is suffering from cancer and he is in the hospital. The chemo did not work and the operations did not get rid of the cancer. Esther asked me to drive her to the hospital to put Paul on hospice and into a nursing home. I told her I would be praying that the Lord would turn this around and give hear a few more years with Paul. She replied, "I certainly hop so." Please pray for this situation.

I've used Marijuana off an on for many years. I quit, but always crawl back. I have been saved since 1986 and it seems as though I'm either serving God or smoking pot. The past 5 years have been awful for me. I was divorced in 2000 and lost my 17 year- old daughter in a car wreck in June 04, my dad died 3 months later and 2 months later on my birthday in Nov. my sister in law died in a car wreck. I am just exhausted. In March of this year I began to pray that God would save me from myself. At the end of March I tested positive for pot at work. I have to take another test that will determine my future employment at my job of 25 years. I have since recommitted my life to the Lord. I don't deserve it, but I am praying for mercy from the Lord. Please pray for me….my life is a mess.

Update-I found out that I passed my test. God has shown me many things and I think he wanted to show me how serious he is about me not using ever again. I was told by my plant manager that they were all pulling for me and they were very thankful that I passed and they feel deeply for me in regards to the loss of my dad, sister in law, and my sweet little girl. They have been so good to me but the Lord has shown me his great mercy and pulled me out of the fire.

My 50- year old son, Matthew, had a stroke and his wife left him. He was depressed and started drinking. He has no direction right now. Pray that God would send someone in his life to share the word of the Lord with him. Pray that they will offer him hope in the Lord and he will turn over a new leaf. He is so lonely he will stay in a bar all night so he can sit with someone.

We need prayer for Ken Jackson. He is a 2nd generation Wycliffe Missionary who has spent his life in mission work. He has also been sent to CrossTalk by Wycliffe to help us with these new efforts around the world using the new Today With God series we are producing for the Visual Bible. Ken is making an important presentation to an international group of linguists who we hope will be touched to join with us and help bring this new project to many language groups in many closed nations.
We also need prayer for our son and daughter-in-law Joshua and Nancy. K.P. Yohannon, president of Gospel for Asia, has asked me to send Joshua to India to train his TV production staff. We are participating with them through our Alliance. GFA is launching the first Christian TV channel in human history. It will air 24/7 across India on Indian Government satellite to their billion lost souls.
We need Joshua desperately in our own TV productions at this critical moment in our growth. However, I cannot say no to K.P. I love him and he is perhaps the greatest man of God I have ever known.

It was on March 6 that I had another bad fall, injuring my neck and head. Gradually I've had an increase in some of the same symptoms I had with my first head injury in October; difficulty with concentration and memory, inability to multi-task, emotional and cognitive instability, fatigue, irritability, ect. The doctor's diagnosis is Mild Traumatic Brain Injury. Please pray that I will be content to let go every responsibility that I need to at this point. Pray for my recovery and for my husband Monte. As I have had to relinquish certain tasks, it puts more responsibility on him. He has been an incredible husband through all of this, for which I am very thankful. Pray that I will not fall and hit my head again. Please pray for me as my new assignment with Wycliffe is to be the prayer coordinator for this new ministry.

Zola Levitt has just learned that he has a serious form of cancer, which has metastasized from the lungs to his brain and liver. Zola loves the Lord and is ready to go home if that is God's will.
